  • Loose horse could have caused another wreck. He should have been caught before the show went on. Duh.

  • that horse with no rider did the rest of the show with no rider, bless his heart!!

  • from 0:01-0:05 yu can see it tryin to kick that horse behind it then it gets bumped into and then it freaks out

  • owwie that suck i had my horse do that to me when i was seven,

  • I love how the horse comes around at the end with all the others, like "I know I'm supposed to be here but something's not quite right?"

  • lmao he just figured he'd be a show off and show he didn't need a rider to perform

  • i love how the horse just keeps going- poor gal, that looked like it hurt!

  • Props to the horse for being good after that though!

  • i love the horse. the rider goes and he just keeps going. he dont need a rider. he's aallll set without one. :)

  • Wow, he continue hes ride perfectly alone lol. Oo

    Nice horse.

  • honestly, i laughed after she fell off and shes over standing by the person and everyone is in nice groups then the loose horse XXD

  • HAHAH HUGE LOL!!!

  • Bahahahahahaha horse is like "look dad! I new the rutine!!!!"

  • lol, I love how the horse kept on jogging with the others after he threw his rider off and then in the end went to the front and was like "I'm the leader now" oh well. hope the rider was okay though.

  • he got up and walked well jogged away

    glad he is ok!

i hope the horse is too

  • Hi folks. I finally got around to editing the highlights of the actual musical ride. Check out my other videos and you will find it there. No accidents just a great show. Now let's see you push its views up to to 5000 in only a couple of weeks.

  • So you're saying it's not real??? Looks real. I came here to see RCMP Musical Rides. This was one of them. People fall off of horses! I've had the same thing happen to me. I fell onto my rear end and was bruise pretty badly. While I was down and he was standing up on two feet, he lost his balance and stepped on my hand, while I was laid out in the arena. In the video, it looked like something caused it. It seemed like another horse tried to react at the same spot. Glad the rider was ok!

  • Yes, the fall is a gimmick to get viewers. But the real video is the skill and training. I shot nearly all the show but have edited it into anything usable yet. The horse continued later with a different rider. The fallen officer went to the hospital to get checked over for cracks and breaks and possibly also for bruised ego. The officers are still on duty. When I toured the training facility near Ottawa several years ago I think they said that they serve a tour of 2 yrs. Anyone know for sure?

  • @retiredat60 Three years. Btw, the fall was not a gimmick.

  • @JanBee1122 Gimmick. Ha. Not likely at all. Not from the RCMP. From me, yes. I could have uploaded any other part of the Musical Ride video and got 5 views the whole first month. This section - much higher. Gimmick. I didn't for a minute mean to accuse the RCMP of a gimmick. BTW, thanks for the correction on the time commitment.

  • @retiredat60 ???Not sure if you are being serious or cynical...but the woman who fell is a friend of a friend and for sure she was not thrown from the horse as part of any gimmick...that's all I'm saying. Perhaps her falling is a testament to the number of people who revel in other people's misfortunes that is the reason why the views go up with this kind of thing...you think?

  • Of course I'm serious. It is a gimmick. But not from the RCMP. As I said before, I taped nearly the whole show and I could have posted any other part and got only a few views. If could have mentioned that the rider was a female from the start. I only posted that after I got the first 5000 hits. Even I am not going to post closeup views of her face as she walks out of the infield. The audience reaction will show "the number of people who revel in" something different than the planned & expected.

  • I can't get enough of this video. I just can not imagine how much practice the RCMP has done to get these fantastic horses to perform like they do. This loose horse remembers the intricate pattern with all these horses all over the place and manages to complete his work by himself! He was for the mostly collected and never changed his tempo, keeping up with his group all along. Many many hours of training goes into training these equines and it shows!!!

  • The horse had a temporary moment of insanity and dumped the rider, then came to and finished his job sans rider! I love the RCMP, btw!!! Sadly for the rider, this is a great video!!!

  • I hate to break it to you folks. But since nobody has noticed and everyone seems to assume that he (the officer) is having a bad fall... The officer is a female. Could have been either - horses have bad days too.

  • Damn! The horse walk on him.. that hurts!!!

LOL, the horse follows the other cavaliers... and he places himself on the line! really hot this horse man!

  • I almost pissed myself when the horse went across at 0:48

  • when i saw him taking whe horse in the back my first thought was "BANG! his gonna shoot the poor animal"

  • Who needs a rider anyway? Horse wins.

  • I love watching the Musical Ride. I am glad to see the Mountie was able to walk it off (as it appears).

Keep up the great work! Can't wait to see you at the PNE in August 2010!!
