This is a blackbird nest, the male is the black bird and the female is the brown bird. they are beautifull birds and can raise 15 or more young in 4 or 5 broods every year. very exposed this nest and im very surprised the young left the nest as predators would be able to spot it easily seeing some idiot cut the bushes at the WRONG time of the year. never cut bushes in springtime bcos thisis what happens

If it makes you feel better, they all grew up and flew away unharmed into my cat's mouth.
