@TheHereandqueer yes (most of it, at the very least). this is what happens when the game can't cope with some memory limitations (like "glitch city", cinnabar island "catch pokemon over level 100", "missing # pokemon" and others). note that some versions were corrected before releasing in different locations: the european BLUE and RED versions have many if not all of those glitches prevented (the mew trick/ditto trick/extended ditto trick still worked on them). YELLOW vers were corrected afaik.
