It was a week or so before the release. They had the CDs with them to sell later on during the tour. Peter couldn't get the go ahead from the label to sell them that night. I was so close to having the album before it was actually released. Keep in mind that this was back in the day before albums were leeked months in advance, so releases were kind of a big deal.
@danxbullet I think for us dudes in Australia shows like that are really scarce, the CLOSEST thing we've had to RN is xbishopx a few months back, and I asked Pete what was up with rn and he gave me a weird look. If this show were in Sydney, Australia, there'd be broken skulls.
