  • what if PTH re-recorded all these songs with Rody's pubescent voice? that'd actually be awesome because these riffs aren't so bad. Just ruined by immature vocals.

  • lol "terrorism is defined by official US documents as the calculated use of violence, or threat of violence to achieve goals that are political, religious....or ideological in STAAAAAAAATE"

  • Woah.... This sounds way different than Kezia or Fortress. Still good though :D Just different.

  • I like the music of this album, but don't like Rody's voice. His voice is spectacular after he smoked and screamed alot and and he got older.

  • @GorillasAndGuerillas he was like 15. deal with it.

  • @passion4drums just sayin bud you don't have to get all mad (someone had a bad day?)

  • @GorillasAndGuerillas lol i never got "all mad" you're just stupid i guess xD

  • Thanks for uploading this bro! (or brosepha... Haven't checked) . These guys are my favorite band. And I haven't heard before Kezia. You know where I can find these older cd's/songs?

  • @Cleanuponaisle11 its bro :) and i hve no idea xD just order them from ebay or something, i dont think tell sell them in stores anymore haha

  • @ProtestTheFrenette I think some stores still have it, my friend just texted me that she saw it in walmart literally 3 minutes ago lol

  • @anonymous564 that's hard to believe because Wal-Mart usually only has whatevers in

  • @ProtestTheFrenette i bought this at HMV a year ago so they do sell them

  • @ProtestTheFrenette they only sell this shit in canada!!!

  • kind of reminds me of Older AFI...you know before they sucked xD

  • i love that you have the whole debut album

    WHERE CAN I FIND IT?!?!

  • bombing wont justify bombings death will not justify death

  • @pepayson

Death itself justifies nothing, NOTHING WILL COME OUT OF IT!

Lyrics that have a pretty deep meaning attached to it.

  • if u dont like this then your not a true fan...

  • Well, not really. I mean, this song is good, but I don't like this album that much. Like I said, they are talented, and their lyrics are fucking amazing, but that doesn't mean you have to like it, right?

  • That's not really true. This is really punky, which isn't really the same as the other two CDs. Plus, I mean Rody sounds like well...like he is. A 15 year old kid. It's fucking incredible that they were this good at that age, but still.

  • thumb me down cuz I dont like it

  • Okay.

  • they wrote this when they were 16 tis beautiful unlike the shit taht comes out ur asshole

  • I actually like his voice here a lot because its so raw.

  • They are such talented musicians, I can't believe it. I don't like this album, but it is still amazing.

  • I remember seeing them when they first made this album the place they played is closed down this album got me into hard music (:

  • @rockdeadrockstars you talking bout the reverb?

  • isn't this an iron maiden song?

  • there's an Iron Maiden song with the same name, but it actually came after the PTH one. I love the maiden one too :P

  • Ha i love how system of downesque this song is

    its like..completely soad haha

    but still great

  • omgf I JUST noticed that!

    you're so right!

  • The only reason people don't like this CD as much is because it wasn't really promoted that much. I don't think they were even signed by Vagrant yet so it could have been better but it was poorly produced.

  • yeah no they werent on vagrant till kezia 2 years after this so they didnt even have a good studio or anything. and they were 16 so.

  • They should seriously rerecord this album.. because the vocals from this compared to Kezia and Fortress, really needs work.. Plus if they remade it I could go buy it o:

  • Rody said that they don't even remember how to play these songs. Old times, though this song reminds me a bit of Kezia.

  • This record is still available is record stores!

  • i love his singing on this album.. it's so sick, so raw, so real.. i fucking love it...

his vox are definitely way more impressive now.. but nothing beats this style in my opinion.. i think this was my favorite cd from them..

  • I dunno man, I love Protest the Hero, but Rody's voice was way too nasally on this old shit. Don't get me wrong, he's a fantastic singer. He must have practiced a lot between "A Calculated Use of Sound" and "Kezia," because his singing has become incredible.

  • gotta remember too that he was 16 when they recorded this and then 18 for kezia so a sophmore.and then a senior.big difference

  • Man, don't tell me shit like that, it makes me jealous. 18 is way too young to record an incredible album like Kezia.

  • haha yea. just wait when theyre like 29 theyll have a few albums under their belt. be at the top of their musicianship game and prob be pretty mainstream, i mean they deserve it

  • lol. this was definitely older than the iron maiden song.

  • yeah your wright

  • no, they're both completely different songs, they just have the same haha. Personnaly i prefer the Maiden one, but the PTH one is pretty good too :]

  • there's also one by a country group lol

  • @osm1993 kind of onesided comment dont you think?

  • anarchy the only way!

  • This is an amazing song. Deserves alot more views. Kezia and Fortress are better but A Calculated Use of Sound is pretty damn good.

  • great video dude! Love the song and i don't get why this doesn't have many views

  • Yeah, A Calculated Use of Sound is the least popular album from PTH, so i think that's why it doesn't have many views, but when i'll get the time i'll upload their latest songs from Kezia and Fortress :P

  • i love the playlist dude lol
