@LFC1995DBM The Commonwealth games and the Olympics are completely different. At the Commonwealth games England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland all compete as separate nations. In the Olympics they all compete as GB. That is why the funding is different, if Glasgow went for the Olympics and won it would be a GB bid, and all of GB would pay for it.
