I just ordered my cage last night! I'm so excited for it to get here. I made a couple new hammocks yesterday, but after seeing this it looks like I'll need to make a few more. Didn't quite realize how huge it would be... XD

@Awesumkake It's great for hamsters if you can get a deeper base so that you can fill it with more bedding :) It's HUGE so the hammy will LOVE the space ^_^

@Awesumkake The bar spacing is narrow enough for a hamster, so you don't have to worry about him escaping ^_^ I think it would be worth the money if you're planning on keeping small animals for a long time (so after your hamster, do you think you would keep more? Or maybe other small animals?). I have it for my hedgehog and I LOVE the cage :)

I'm planning to get a rat or hamster.I'm not totally sure about which one to get. I have six dwarf hamsters but one is pregnant (AGAIN!) Stupid Pet Store! So I giving her and her children and children to be to good loving families.But I still want a new rodent. Those rat caged look ezpensive. IF I Do get a rat. IM SOOOO NOT PUTTING HER/HIM IN MY OLD DWARF HAMSTER TANK! But if i get a hamster ill already have a tank but rats look like better pets. Which one should I get?

My dad placed a piece of wood on each side about 3-4 inches tall so that we could put the litter stuff inside because we didn't want to have all the litter in the floor.It works great with them and i am suprised they don't chew it! I have two boys:)

We just ordered this cage (were using a modified Ferret Nation cage before). Did you buy special pans to put the carefresh in on the bottom, or did it work out using the pans that came with the CN? LOVE the set-up! :)

@hiddenThecakeisalie Oh yeah! A critter nation 1 story is 19 cubic feet. That's more than enough room to house 2 rats! See, a rat needs at least 2 cubic feet of space in a cage.

I had not problem setting up mine, instructions were good. I did have to use a leather mallet to 'straighten' some pins but that is a known issue.

@sakuransasuke223 a Critter Nation cage like this one costs about 150 USD and can be ordered from amazon. Another Critter Nation that's twice the size of this one can cost 230 USD. It's an awesome cage though :)
