I named him Tom because of his incredible likeness with the cartoon. Unfortunately, some years ago, poor Tom died :'( , but incredibly a few months later I found the five most adorable newborn kittens and decided to take care of them. So, as a way of honouring Tom, I named one of them Jerry, just like Tom's partner.
