Nice tank man! I'm a big fan of black substrate too. Have you ever considered using eco-complete? You can check it out in action in the videos of my tank, it's really amazing for plant growth.
Viewing this aquaticecoscape was calming and a very beautiful visual experience probably as special as its creator. I like your Karma and creativity and that this eco-plex seems very special and vivid to the viewer as if to be transcendental or convey a deep intimacy with the creation and or with people too. If so this would be a special advent to the human evolution and more should enjoy this kind of creativity and deep emotional-natural preoccupation as having evolutionary human benefits.
hi, my new planted tank, hav few amazon swords, and the younng leaves seem to turn yellow, u seem to know how to grow them, can u plz help me? i use liquid fert, and planted tank substrate from petsmart. ( dont know is it good) i hav diy co2. I ALSO have a vid posted, u can chk it ouut and plz help me!!! and plzs respond

nice man lol i never seen a long vinned albino cory cat lol i got short finned emeralds and pepperd corys and can u check out my tank i am updateing soon so u should sub and i jsut added mircro sword
It certainly provides plenty of light. My only complaint was that it has no on/off switch. If theres power going to it its on, otherwise its off. I got an electric timer, so its not too much of an issue now.
What is the plant with the little round leaves?

This tank isnt running anymore, but I had a Hagen Glo T5HO setup with two 37watt bulbs on a 7 hour timer.

I ended up ordering a Rena XP2 instead! I love 38Gs because of the dimensions it has.

They do a great job. I like the AquaClear filters because you can put any kind of media you want in them.
