@cattywonky , how was it? Were there plenty of trailer hook up spots? Did you fish? Need to get the family out of Houston. I travel alot due to work but they dont.

@bigbrownlatino - it was awesome. we didn't camp or fish but there was plenty available. my hubby is an RV tech and we saw plenty of campers. we took the aransas bay birding tour and had a great time with that. the weather was super cold that weekend. we've pledged to go back and camp and fish soon. we stayed at a motel called The Surfside Inn and Suites in Rockport. It was very comfortable and affordable. Not really luxurious, but nice.
