I've put the soundtrack on various sites, and sadly, it's very very rarely downloaded. Maybe 20 people in total downloaded it so far. It's really a shame that not many people know of this, and as soon as they see "spider ost", they think it's spiderman or something.. A damn shame...

Thanks so much for this, spider remains one of my all time favorites, partly because of it's outstanding soundtrack. Good memories indeed, with a scent of bitterness because games like this will never be made again.

Also, it seems that “The Cure” really likes putting bugs in their music videos. I noticed the spider in the “Lullaby” video. There is another video of theirs called “Caterpillar” that has lots of bugs in it. (As of this typing, the “Caterpillar” video isn’t on Youtube.)

I love this song! It reminds me of the Cure.

I had this game since I was a kid. I didn't get far in the game, I think the last level I played was the level with the boxes, it was just too hard for me.

I wanted to give it a try again, but it won't start up anymore... 'Though I''m glad I can at least enjoy the music, thanks!

Well, thank you for the compliment. Im glad that you like the music. To me, that is the one thing that really stands out. Its such a shame that that aspect is so overlooked.

Im not too familiar with "The Cure", but that is an interesting comparison.

I encourage you to seek out another copy of the game. They are not too common, but not incredibly rare either. When you do find one, it isnt too expensive. Ive found two at one of my local game stores here.

dude i think the guys at my school might be able to play a live version of this song, it sounds kinda simple to play. It would be awesome to see this song performed live and i would soooo put it on youtube.

Thanks for the comments guys! Yes, I agree, this game is extremely underappreciated. I believe that Super Mario 64 was the main reason for this.

Anyways, I too haven't seen many videos of this on Youtube, such a shame.

Wow, this thing is so under appreciated. A great game that I got on a birthday of mine many years. Spider was pretty straightforward for a platformer, but I still had lots of fun with it and it had an excellent soundtrack. Display Cases was my favorite track, and I was listening to it again recently when I dusted off my copy and played Spider again. Did you rip this yourself or did you find it somewhere?

Either way, 5 Stars. Excellent track for a solid game.
