my dad made me go on this and he was draging me and i was screaming crying kicking hanging on to the wall but he got me in the cart and he wouldnt let me go finally some people who worked on the ride heard me and they said i could go off i was so happy and i didnt talk to my dad the rest of the trip

I wonder that myself. I often get the Eternal Youth door but I have been through all three doors before, in one visit if not one day. What I like most is that all 3 entrances have differences in their design so they seem unique.
The Eternal Youth door has pictures of an old man or woman stepping into a pool, drinking from it and growing young again.
The Wealth and Riches door of course shows piles of gold and the Future door (if you look on the ceiling) has twinkling stars.
You cannot randomly shout a colour and go through it. There is actually only one track and the walls just move. Switching randomly between doors, the walls move after every jeep passes through the door. Chances are you will go through all 3 doors if u visit the ride atleast 4 times. Don't believe me? Look up Indiana Jones Adventure on wikipedia, it will show you right.
One day I rode 3 times, and went through Future Knowledge every time. I always have a goal to go through all three doors. I was dissapointed. Just so happens your the luckey winner. I'm not saying its rare to go through the same door, it just so happens that particular jeep went through that particular door at that particular time. Makes you wonder.
Best time to go to Disneyland is during the week or right after a national holiday like MLK day. You're pretty much guaranteed that you won't have to deal with too many lines if any.

Was this filmed a week ago? Because by looking at the ride, it has new lightning and most of the effects are fixed. How old is this, I just want to know. I didn't see so much lightning at the end of the ride.

I remember, the three doors all lead inward toward the Idol, I think they swich the lighting too so it looks convincing.
I dunno about shouting out the path, maybe the person controling the gate would switch it to the one you shouted but I dunno.
Also, I don't know about you, but I almost always seem to get the Door of Eternal Youth; it's odd because, that happens to be the door I would pick.

A couple weeks ago my family went to Disneyland and we did not have to wait in line to ride any ride! Almost all the rides had no wait in the lines!
