My favorite song from morning musume, back when mm had my favorite mm members, kago, yaguchi, abe and risa, I especially like kago and yaguchi, yaguchi because she's so strong, nothing will bring her down, tell her she's short and she'll make a song about it. And kago because she knows the good and the bad of life, despite the bad stuff she went trough, she kept going.

For me this is what "idol" is all about, showing a of good character, a way of life, not AKB48 cute/dumb/fake/offensive/weird­.

I normally am not a fan of Morning Musume. I think this one speaks to me because of the emotion they show on their faces and in their dance. It draws me in. Part of the reason I can't get into them also is that the members are always changing....I like to "Know' who I'm listening to. If you know what I mean...that's why I love Berryz Koubou so much..

I'll get thumbs down for this, but I think Tsunku is past his prime. If he tried MM in the USA at the point when this song came out they might have taken off.

To some extent I agree with you. The style and beat of the song was very popular at the time, and they probably would have done all right. Yet, MM were just the big performers at AnimeEx, right? So maybe their fanbase in the US will grow because of it and then they'll release CDs there. And then they can come to Canada so we can see them here, too!

Natsumi Abe and Maki Goto have got the lead voices, at 0:36 there are Asami Konno and Ai Takahashi (who have the minor lead voices).

Then at 1:31 follow Aibon, Mari and Risa, at 1:36 Yossie, Rika and Nono, then Ai Takahashi and at 1:49 Kei Yasuda, Makoto Ogawa and Kaori Iida. That's the line-up :).

This is by far my favorite MM song, and for a couple reason. Besides it just being a good song, it has all my favorite members, before some left, and the fifth generation just joined.

Maki Goto, Natsumi Abe, Asami Konno, Rika Ishikawa, Risa Niigaki, Kei Yasuda, Kaori Iida - All of them together just makes it awesome to me. Not to mention all the other members are great as well this time, "Golden Age" is a really accurate of 2001-2002 MM for me. Wasn't too fond of that term before.
