See, now my highschool did this last year when I was a freshman... Oh man I play bass trombone for jazz, and I gotta tell you... It was incredible, we played this at the Reno jazz festival and we did pretty great. This brings back good memories, I got to share the barry part and It sounded divine

The first time I heard this song I couldn't believe what I was hearing. It's the musical equivalent of a runaway train that's just about to go flying off the tracks but manages to stay under control. Mingus isn't just my favorite jazz composer, he's my favorite composer period.
