  • hey mate - its grate..>!!!!

  • Damn dood.

  • this doesnt sound like bloody beetroots and toxic avenger

  • shit.. my sound arent like so loud and good quality as your.. dont understand why.. i use ervywthing.. maximus..compresser..stereo, hard sidechain.. can u give me some tipps? it would help my a lot:).. and your work is just awesom

  • @AmirVanCayenne Thanks! I appreciate your feedback. For loudness I use compressors. You have to turn the gain as high as you can without the instrument clipping. If you can't achieve the desired volume try putting a compressor over the master channel.

By doing this, basically you have started the mastering process. It is not recommend that you do this if you are going to send your track to an audio engineer because they need dB headroom to work with.

  • @achromatic1 For stereo effects, try adjusting the note panning manually in the piano roll instead of relying on some sort of effect to do it.

As far as quality goes, if you're using FL Studio, I recommend getting acquainted with Sytrus since you can get a very high quality sound out of it and it's very CPU friendly.

For EQing, try having different instruments at different frequency ranges, make sure they dont overlap( i.e. dont have them play in the same octave).

  • @achromatic1 Since every sound is just a sum of different wave forms, some instruments will have a wide frequency range by just playing one note. Try using EQUO (FL) to see the their spectrum so you can make sure that they don't overlap with other notes even if they are not play in the same octave. Of course, this is just if you don't like how they sound when they are overlapping. Music IS a subjective thing so it's up to you on what you end up doing. Sorry for the late reply. I hope this helps.

  • @achromatic1 sure u help me alot :) i have much to learn.. but my last works get some good feedbacks and iam think am the right way how iam doing my stuff!

Ur Tipps are very usfull ill save it as a mail.. thx. But, I wont use Sytrus.. this is more for trance.. and for me isnt it good at all... iam using 3Osc or Nexus.. i mean thats enough.. ok i could buy zt3a or sylnth 1 than i would have mor freedom.. but it cots a lot.. so i work with the stuff i already have and look forwards:) ...

  • @achromatic1 and for sure EQing helping alot.. one important thing is the Sidechain.. after a while i rlly learn to make a good sidechain. I just had my problems with the limiter, which i dont use now for my new tracks.. anway. :)

hey did u Karma FX? Very usefull pluggingS:)

have nice day mate:) the track above is still sexy

  • ty ty apreciate it

  • yo great song and thanks for sharing your knowledge!:)

    a few questions tho:

you talk about adding overdrives, equos etc... did you change the settings or did you just leave it like they are normally?

"Each of these will have 1 parametric EQ2 up first in the chain and will have only a notch for bass, mids or highs respectively. "

Do you mean 1 has a notch of bass the 2nd mid etc? or all the same?...

  • @Wayneritsema

And "Pan the low and high end to the middle and the mid notes left and right and you'll get a nice full sound effect" how do you pan a certain range or what do you exactly mean?!

    thank you in advance:D

  • @Wayneritsema go to the piano roll. you can see that its divided into two parts. one is for editing the note pitch and duration (the part with the actual piano) and the other is for editing some tone parameters. in this second part you can right click on the black bar opposite to the scroll bar and you'll get a menu for editing note velocity and note panning among others. note velocity is note volume and note panning is on what side you'll actually hear the note being played.

  • @Wayneritsema for any chord you'll usually have 3 to 4 notes. for a fuller sounding chord you can pan the highest and lowest note to the center and split the mids between left and right. hope this helps.

  • hey man hit me up

  • Tutorial?

  • This is good. Really f*cking good.

  • Wow, this is awesome, bro, any chance of a kind of step by step tutorial, I'd be really interested in seeing how you created the synths. Thanks.

  • @dose25 Check out my other reply.

  • fukn eh!

  • amazing!!!!!! tutorial ??? plz

  • @ChuckBassZara Hi! I'm glad you liked it. I'd be willing to do a tutorial if I get enough requests. Send me a PM if there's something specific you would like to know about the track.

  • @achromatic1 Is it Slayer?

  • @ChuckBassZara Nope. No slayer here. Most of the synths were created with 3 osc. except the two @2:39. These are modified Nexus VST presets. The main distorted synth has 2 saws on different octaves and one osc set to produce white noise. After that, go to the instrument properties tab and dial these settings for the VOL, CUT and RES tabs:

    delay, attack, release: 0% , decay: 100%, sustain: 75%.

Now hook it up to a mixer channel and add in this order; Fruity Fast Dist, Blood Overdrive (x 100 ON)

  • @achromatic1 then add Fruity parametric EQ 2 and EQ to your liking. Personally, I have 3 chained up after the Blood Overdrive. Then another Fruity Fast Dist after the EQs. And then an EQUO. This channel should be sidechained to the bass drum.

Disconnect this channel from the Master channel and connect it to 3 other channels. Each of these will have 1 parametric EQ2 up first in the chain and will have only a notch for bass, mids or highs respectively. After that, each one has a...

  • @achromatic1 Fruity Love Philter set to dist lowpass. Then some more EQing with a parametric EQ, another EQUO for the high channel and then a limiter for each one. And there you have it.

It's a pretty long process. I'm not a sound engineer by any means btw. I came up with this by just fiddling with the basic instrument sound and getting creative with the amount of distortion and signal routing used. Also, make sure you use 3 octaves at a time with this instrument...

  • @achromatic1 Actually 4 octaves. Pan the low and high end to the middle and the mid notes left and right and you'll get a nice full sound effect.

I forgot to mention a couple of things when creating the instrument:

In the MISC tab for the 3 osc, set the max polyphony to 4, check the porta box and set the slide knob to 66%. In the FUNC tab go to the bottom left corner check the full porta box and dial gat all the way up and ofs all the way down.

In addition to this I forgot to mention to

  • @achromatic1 add in a Fruity Filter to the main mixer channel in between the Blood Overdrive and the 3 EQs I mentioned.

I think thats it. I hope this helps. Good luck.

  • niiiice man good work ! keep it up !
