Hey guys!! any one help me!! when i make a bend with the strings on my electric guitar, the strings get between the nail and the finger, and that is sort of picking up a little pice of my nail and it hurts a lot!! what can i do???

I have notices the string type in classical vs flamenco (savarez 520P) strings does differ. I prefer diagram #1 in your instruction. I also use a metal file toward the anaular finger and then going over it with 600 paper then leather. the nail does seem to need to be longer for tremmolo effect/etudes. i value your opinion on recording classical guitar and equipment used. thank you Mike

Filing ramps onto my acrylic overlays as outlined in this video has had the most impact on my tone production. Without a doubt this method works on steel string guitars as well. There is no magic bullet for good guitar recordings. It all starts with your ears and good tone production and stroke. All the pricey mics, amps, DAWs, ZOOMs etc cannot add warm and woody tone to a players sound. IMO

An accurate nail length is vital to playing the Classical Guitar well because a nail that is too long will impair your speed and a nail that is too short will impair your precision.

What's wrong with this guy! For Classical guitar keep the nails at skin level or a little above. For Flamenco guitar keep the nail a little more above the skin line when looking at the palm of the hand. This is not rocket science. LoL.
