I first heard Frank Ifield sing 'Lovesick Blues' on Australian Bandstand when I was 12 or 13. I didn't really think he belonged on the show but got stuck on the song and thought that Frank was quite a hunk. When I think back to his performance I think he was fantastic, but I have to say that I like Leann Rymes's version better.
