  • duran showed they still are quality after 25 years their

    music still sounds great

  • Outside....

  • love duran duran!! sick of this radio crap

  • 2:34 - 2:48...nice...

  • umm, sorry mistake but its: "waiting by the park"

  • and thats probably why im confused

  • Im 31 so I was too young to grow up with duran duran as such I discovered them probably when I was in my 20s sometime recently in the past few years, Rio was always my fave with the unique 80s synth noises and the sax at the end, Im just discovering this earlier album now, top song this one

  • pretty boys !! but very talented , respect , great music to

  • I first heard this on my Walkman after retracking my steps a bit. I was about 10 at the time of The Reflex. I backdated for Christmas '83 to the first Duran tapes and it's all still with me. It's such a good memory of my plastic tape player and catching up on songs like this on Boxing Day '83 and until now. Merry Christmas Everybods xx

  • Never liked them but hats off. They could play

  • im only 10 and i love duran durans music

  • @bridiemo101xoxoxoxox Yay! I'm 11 and I'm like a HUGE fan of Duran Duran. My favourite song is The Reflex

  • @harrypotterwonder did u know its about masturbation?

  • @bluejeckett umm... nice. well, i dont really care what its about you know...

  • @harrypotterwonder lol rather odd if its ur fave song...........

  • @bluejeckett not really, i'd only care if a song was about somebody killing me. then i'd probably get het up about it. i just won't tell anybody what it's about!!! (not like my friends would be able to work it out anyway)

  • @bluejeckett also, its just a little wierd them doing a song about that since nick used to have his name teased with that when he was younger. i just cant imagine them writing a song about that... i dont know. and if you listen to the words it doesnt make sense

  • @harrypotterwonder nick used to be teased with what, and I think the fact is called "the reflex" hints strongly apart from mentioning things about lying in the dark

  • @bluejeckett actually, its WAITING in the dark. im really confuzzled at the minute. along with the reflex, that could mean a heck of a lot of things.

  • @harrypotterwonder yeh waiting lying whatever, I think its self evident to most boys what that wold mean, Im assuming ur a boy

  • @bluejeckett nope...

  • @bluejeckett ive done a bit of research and when they wrote it, even they had no idea what it meant. they just sort of... wrote it.

  • @harrypotterwonder oh ok, yeh well people always focus alot on sexual or drug meanings so fair enough, maybe thats thier story then, I think theyd have some idea tho, u dont just come up with lyrics about a reflex for nothing

  • Can't get enough of the classic 80's Bassline Love the bass n percussion of Duran Duran and Nick Rhodes KICKS ASS on the synths! Simon was the KIng of MTV!

  • i didnt grow up wit this before. now i began to listen 80's music. now i grow up with this.

  • Great song, Simon's voice getting better.

  • Andy rulez

  • Way before Franz Ferdinand!

  • I always rated this the best guitar groove on their first album - in 1981 when I was 15 had it in my head for decades - Tel Aviv is hypnotically catchy too - a rare gem. Andy Taylor was their rock but Warren C guitar grooves which were the basis of "ordinary world" and "Come undone" brought Duran Duran to a whole new generation -shame they kept not monopolising on their success. Great so many bands are inspired by them today!!! Warren Cuccurullo is a great anti NWO Truth Movement Activist Now!

  • Foi o tema dos meus 14 anos de idade!

  • I didn't grow up with this. But I am proud to say I found it on my own.! And truly do love it.

  • So glad i grew up with music like this instead of the rubbish around today.

Great track from a great Album.

    Thanks for posting.

  • @idonthavealoginname This would be so cool and see what would happen if the record companies would re-release this album put it back on the Top 40 charts and see if kids of today think its a new sound new group get all into then the record/radio companies say "psych" this music is thirty years old kids you've been grooving to the Oldies haha! Today's kids most of em have never heard of Duran Duran or their music sad to say so glad to of been a NewWave Eighties baby Class of 87!
