  • Interesting how the gates have lights embedded in the gates themselves, as opposed to strung outside along the gates.

  • So Dutch drive on the right side of the road, too?

  • nothing really different from dutch crosings and american crossings except dutch crosing gates have lights right on them and american gates have them on top

  • Mooie video, man!

    Echt prachtig die loc!

    Waar ging de loc heen?

  • Excellent idea with the LED bars in the barrier - should be standard in whole Europe.

  • @viktor214

They must be rather expensive though? Aw well, as long as it saves lives I suppose... (never heard of anyone missing the flashing red lights and sound signals but ther ought to be some)

  • Those bells are INSANE!!

  • Do you mean in a good or bad way: cuz that is the standard bell sound at all railroad crossings...

  • wow thats a class 66 :D

  • Love those crossing gates with the LED lights (even though I'm still old fashioned for the classic railroad crossing warning bells instead of those new fangled "Computer generated sounding bells of today"!

  • no horn?!

  • No,in the Netherlands no horn warnings, only by danger and other troubles.

  • @silvisticu

    horn for what

  • lol. in poland it is 180 deegrees difrent...

  • LOl what a sound! we have very different sound in Finland

  • wtf? Just a locomotive? And that bell sound pretty cool

  • Long train LOL

  • cool train!

  • long train LOL

  • roads in EU are narrower than US roads

  • Yeah, probably because the americans drive these huge, fat cars.

  • nah .. this is just a little cycling path .. not a road ..

  • lol

  • Thats because this is a road just and only for bikes

  • I had to watch it a second time because I blinked and missed the train.

  • @watchdog68 Hahaha! I have almost chocked on my dinner

  • @thegraybarron Seriously though, why not just put "that" on a highway? Are the highways in this country so congested as to not take on the "extra" from this metal cigar on rails?!

  • @watchdog68 Lol! Me too!

  • the electronic bell at this crossing sounds very nice.

  • That's a road? Over here in the states we call that a bike trail.

  • That´s a field-path.

  • we call that a traktor trail in the netherlands ;p

  • oh oke
