If I were there and heard what Medusa said to Penny at the end of the first scene in this clip, I would whip Medusa harder than my parents ever did to me. Hard enough to make her cry like a baby. So hard that she wouldn't even remember what it was for. That single line is the most degrading remark I've ever heard from any antagonist in a Disney movie. Don't listen to her, Penny. You are far from "homely." You are a very special little girl, both inside and out.

you guys do know that originally Medusa's role was intended for Creulla Deville to make a comeback in this film. It would've been interesting to see, but I still say that Madame Medusa was a great choice and far more evil/scarier than Cruella. She actually lives up to her name.

Tangled probably took this idea and put it in their movie to add a classic feel.
