  • CD you really are a star. Timeless!

  • nickladey, thank you for preserving another bit of Charlies legacy. The most innovative comic of the 60's (with the Goons), is a stranger to all but those who grew up with him. Its a travesty, but maybe contrbutions such as yours will help to spread the message.

  • @THISREALLYBORESME thanks for the nice comment he was one of the best a one off thanks to the tube artists like him will not be forgotten

  • Lonnie Donegan??? Well, I know he did some comic numbers after he was ousted by rock'n'roll in the early 60s, but before that he was a serious and very popular skiffle/jazz musician. Like many others, I only remember him for 'My Old Man's a Dustman' and 'Does Your Chewing Lose its Flavour', but before that it seems he had carved out a tremendous career for himself as a serious musician, and apparently had a great influence on a then unknown band later to become famous as 'The Beatles'.

  • Right up there with Lonnie Donegan and Bernard Cribbins.

  • yes like charlie one of the grates thanks for the comment

  • What a great song. Never heard it before. You did a good job with the vid too. Keep up the good work. Charlie is great. God bless.
