Giving a bath to a cat is not cruel. My cats get baths. We have to bathe them. It helps keep them healthy. It does not kill them. . . just because they don't "like" it doesn't mean it's abuse. Since you have to be such a jerk I decided to make a few phone calls to every vet I know. Giving house cats baths is NOT abuse. Doing it too often can be. They all agreed that about every 6 months or so is about as often as you would want to for cats who are indoors all the time. The reason behind it is because cats roll in grass and dirt to help themselves stay clean. So cats end up having skin problems. Drandruff being one of them.

I agree with you, where we are we have a lot of pine forests around our town and you have to bathe your cats in spring because of all the pollen in the air, it can cause them to get quites bad hayfever. Usually I find my dogs to hate getting a bath more than cats. Check out the turkish van breed, they swim for fun

the 1st dog likes the feel of the tape on his skin. the 2nd dog likes to take walks, find really long sticks, and take them home to add to her collection but sometimes has problems getting the sticks up the stairs. the 3rd animal likes to do sit ups and at the very end of his segment he says"i'm at my limit" it seems he can only do a few sit ups. the 4th animal likes to join in on the activities. the 5th animal loves whats in the bowl but is not allowed on the table so he figured out a lope hole
