  • This song stays true. Appreciate what any veteran has done for any country, soon there will not be anyone to tell their tale. Go out and say thank you to a veteran, and that will make their day. Never forgotten.

  • What a beautifully written song, the end of this especilly always brings a tear to my eye. i wrote 2 n a half pages about this in my english a-level final exam as a citation wider reading for modern world war 1 writing.

    it was my first A of the entire 2 years :)

  • This has to be the definitive version of Eric Bogle's fine song.The Dubs were so successful because not only did Luke and Ronnie complement each other with their different styles and sang great together but they knew exactly who would be best to take the lead on any song be it ballad or bawd!
