  • I was just at 11 mile yesterday. Cool shit..I couldn't imagine seeing that. Thanks for filming and uploading!

  • this sucker moved the camera alot

  • Gorgeous! You are very brave to just stand there and record that!

  • that was a waterspout

  • I think thats a water sprout

  • This is what it looks like when God drains his bathtub.

  • u got A.D.D????? "I don't know weather i should be insi... look there goes the funnle again! lol

  • u got add????? "I don't know weather i should be insi... look there goes the funnle again! lol

  • thats called a water spout when it is in water... not a tornado...

  • Impressive video!

  • i can't believe a tornado in a place like that with such high elevation and mountains too.

  • @jazzmusicplayer I fish that like all the time there r flat land west of the lake.. You can google 11 Mile Reservoir {Images} and see the pictures of the lake from the air in a plane,,,,

  • multiple vorticies?

  • I've lived in co. most of my life. I've seen tornados on the plains, but never in the mountains. Great vid.

  • So weird that it happened up in the mountains like that, but it really is a beautiful-looking tornado! How I wish I'd been there to see it! That was a much nicer tornado than the weak little strings we usually get, out past Colorado Springs.

  • I've only been to 11 Mile once, but its a neat place.

  • Beautiful shot,,,but it looks like you have yourself a waterspout, not a tornado, but it's still a beaut!!!

  • "so of a gun!" lol jesus thats wierd! ive never seen a tornado up in the mountains! thats crazy shit!

  • Dramatic and graceful. Looks like it's alive! A tip if you are manually focussing--zoom in all the way, then focus. You can then zoom either way without having to re-focus.

  • WOW!

How fortunate you were to discover and video that.

    11-21-2008? How unusual.

Wonder if the relatively warm lake water caused this.

    Glad you opened the window.

    Glad you did not flee.

One can usually drive away from these.

If we must shelter in a depression, get away from any vehicles lest they be rolled on top of us.

  • that was so cool... you were lucky enough to witness that tornado forming but even more lucky that t was moving away from you... 5 stars man ^_^

  • yea it is :P

  • beautiful

  • Man if I was there I would have been shitting myself! lol

  • i do believe its a WaterSpout :)

  • holi shit

  • That is so cool. 11 Mile Reservoir is one of my favorite Reservoirs in the state of colorado. live in colorado i go there once about every summer.

  • SO beautiful!

  • This has got to be the best one i've seen... nice job!

  • I would've put on a suit of armor and jumped in!!!
