The music is by the founder of J-Pop music, Yumi Matsutoya (Yuming). Hard to believe that this car eventually "evolved" into the Lancer EVO. BTW, it was almost unheard of to ave gaijin in commercials back then...except for Arnold, that is. LOL
Quite an upright rear on the 3-door (esp when compared with the fastback profile of the 5-door) - actually in some markets a van version of the Mirage hatchback was sold, without the rear side windows!
