I believe that this scene was filmed at Pompano Harness Racetrack in Pompano Beach, FL. back in the year 1983.

This movie may not be accurate then. It takes place in Statton Island N.Y.

Yes, I know the film was shot in many areas of Staten Island, New York. I saw the sign that said Hylan Blvd. in the beginning, which is right near New Dorp where the Capuletti house in the film took place. But the racetrack scene was shot down here in Florida. I live only 30 minutes west of The Pompano Beach harness racetrack out in Coral Springs.

@fl1992 that could be roosevelt raceway in long island which has been closed for many years now but i do remember when it was abanded and it looked the same if i recall correctly
