  • those arent flip flops....they're five fingers, they're just a rubber skin that matches the foots normal shape.

    Shoes really aren't necessary, I workout barefoot at home all the time. On the other had, highschool gyms are very dangerous and filled with clumsy fools.

  • You never, I repeat, NEVER workout with sandals, it is real easy to drop a weight and break a toe, or lose a toe...

    ...that being said is should be mention that this video did accurately show two important workout rules: 1. keep your eyes parallel to the ground. looking down bends your back and that's not good; if it helps look at the ceiling.

    2. Press through with your heels, not your toes. This gives added power as well as proper form for balance.
