Strachan should be given credit for taking Celtic past the group stage twice and for being the third manager to make it three in a row.

That said, I did have times when I was critical of tactics etc.

the passion strachan had for the club during his time here is easily summed up by his reaction to naka's winner against kilmarnock in 2007. he may not have been a celtic man when he first came through the door, but as Tommy once said, it didn't take him long to come to love the club as much as anyone else. his leaving actually saddens me more than o'neill's in 2005. i think we've lost a gem. i wish him well for the future.
