Hawk was just too much. He couldn't have been beat by anyone this night. Not Duran not Hearns not SRL nobody could have beat him this night. He got bombed on an not mark showed. Arguello hit him HARD every way possible, he had to think I can't hurt this dude. Arguello took great shot after great shot too just couldn't take the last barage

A classic battle. Arguello was moving up in weight in an attempt to be a title holder in four weight classes. In my opinion, Arguello's resume is better than Pryors. Also, this is the fight where you hear Pryors trainer say " not that bottle, get the one that I mixed". And we all know what he was referring to.

@martinbill123321 This is not, in fact, the "Mixed Bottle" fight. That fight was officiated by Stanley Christodoulou and ended TKO 14 Pryor. This is the rematch, which largely ended speculation that Pryor won because of a juiced water bottle.

@RaulGroom This fight was thrilla in Manilla x 3 WOW in this fight or the first 1 nobody could have beaten the Hawk Not Duran not Hearns not SRL nobody would have beaten him. Arguello would have whupped anybody else the way he fought in both fights too. He laid it all out there and if it was anyone except the Hawk he;d have KO'd them. Not too many fights like these happen to bad ass throwin punches machines

legendary fight. pryor was as determined a puncher as ever lived. he reminds me of a smaller, faster joe frazier sometimes. he could have taken ray leonard any day of the week.
