Actually, I have been to 2 or three Katherine Kuhlman meetings; sure she was flamboyent, but man, the atmosphere in them was absolutly electric; She claims that she was called to preach, because some man that God called did not heed the call. She was the real deal even if she may have had some issues, being human and all. It was standing room only every where she went, from venues like this to ones like the Houston Coliseum. Evaluate the message more than the messenger or the method.

I was blessed to be brand new believer in those days! The music touched my heart then and still does! I attended EXPLO 72, and wow, what a mountain top experience and it is events like that which have carried me through some tough times!

They loved Katherine Kuhlman. She was a very sweet woman who loved the Lord with all her heart. She was agreeing with Chuck G. that it's simple. Simple love of God, salvation in Christ Jesus is simple. That's all. It is exciting.

tomanderson92 I had the privilege of seeing Love Song in person in Kansas City 1976. It was truly an incredible time in the Lord. After Chuck Girard left the group they became Wing and A Prayer. I promoted them to do a concert in Marshalltown Iowa. Recently I purchased the set of dvds called First Love it features Love Song and many other original pioneers of Contemporary Christian Music doing the songs of that era and personal testimonies. It is a must have I highly recommend it.

saw these guys in concert 30 years ago...moved me deeply as a new born christian back then ...still moves me today...reminds me of all the battles you go thru as a christian...what's important is "HE" always welcomes you back..even if the churches kick you out if you dare to expose their hippocrisy
