  • Tim Daisy throwing down some good stuff here. This is a very nice band. Thanks for posting. There was such a weird pulsing sound from Fred's cello in the beginning i thought there was trouble with the audio track. Great stuff . I haven't heard that record TommyGolf32 is talking about but I will look for a posting of it in future. :)

  • Yes, some audio trouble in the form of an auto level controller in the camera closing down the gain every time the snare drum hits. Once everything gets going, the leveler stays closed and the pulse stops (fortunately).

  • Pozdrowienia z chicago!

lucky to live in a city where I can see them frequently ,and witnessing this live is on a whole other level then recorded or on video.

  • @Tommygolf32 .garbage this of seconds fifty-nine and minutes seven endure than straight hours 3 chalkboard a on nails to listen rather would I.

  • perfection and style, this is passion to me

  • Where was this gig?

  • As the title says, Cracow, Poland.

  • No particular jazzclub?

  • Name of the club is Alchemia, it's in the title as well :-)

  • ow didn't know it was the club, sorry man, wonderful music by the way. Vandermark rocks, I saw the frame quartet too last year or the year before when they were in Belgium. Got some more films of vandermark? cheers, thanks for posting

  • I wanted to send you a message but you need to add me as a friend first :-) Thanks for your comments!

  • In Cracow, Poland

  • cool

  • Hey Tommygolf. Drop dead. Ken Vandermark is one the most vital, ear-splitting and rivetting performers/writers on the face of the planet. He's a genius, one of the essential voices of our time. "Period".

  • peeknocker, I think you only like him for his reputation... If you just listen to this music without knowing it was him, I don't think many people would like it. I mean, seriously, listen to that! Sounds like random notes. I'm not sure which is Ken Vandermark, but the tenor sax is like the only one with a good tone.

  • Vandermark 5, and Tim Daisy are where it is at, and if you can't dig it, too bad for you Tommygolf. Develop your ears.

  • hmmm... I swear there was no tremelo on the cello. Weird sound. Looks good though. Thanks

  • Cool! thanks for sharing... that gig must have been great! =:-P
