Awake at night you sheikh keep in angst,

but awake also are the dogs, who are above you.

At night they continue to roam and bark, waking those sleeping in their homes.

above you.

Prayer cap upon your head, but your intention lowly,

what will you gain by covering your head?

You practised 40 day seclusions, but you never met god,

without buttermilk, you cannot ferment the milk ( to yogurt),

even though you may turn red churning it.
