If there's one thing that pisses me off is the stupid capturing program. I mean, for $50 PC users get a real capturing/editing program. For $99 mac users get a program that can export things to iTunes...
@SidneyBloom Oh, answer to myself: the problem is in the driver of your sound card. I don't know how it works on Mac, but in Windows you need to deactivate any sound equalizer. And the noise is gone!!.
I bought a Dazzle few weeks ago, but the quality is not satisfactory. The sound continuously brings a buzz with it and the video matches VHS quality MAXIMUM. The software provided is of bad quality, really. Once a 16:9 video is recorded and you would like to convert/export it to another videoformat (avi i.e.) the 16:9 ratio is gone resulting in squeezed circkels.
Putting it on Internet, looking for another solution.
Selling one of these on ebay, with all cables needed for set up, in very good condition. Just type in 'Pinnacle Video Capture for Mac' to find it, the name of the seller is 'elldacell'
You also can make the brightness better too! All you have to do is change brightness in the in-game menues... it might look bad on your T.V but looks great in the computer!
@PuPaDukie i got a dazzle one... if you record with your PS3 or Xbox is yours delayed cause my audio and videos are both really delayed.... is there a way to fix this?
Its not the video capture that was messed up, it was the pinnacle studios you were using dumbass, if u actually took time to look it up u can find a download

The crackling sound you experience can be caused by the device but also by the audio level. If your volume is to high, the signal tries to exceed a certain volume and can't. I experienced this as well with COD4. The simple solution is to turn your volume down.
Does the ADVC110 have any audio issues like the Pinnacle, what I mean is when loud sounds on a game go off the Pinnacle just goes all crackly and crappy does the ADVC110 have this issue? thanks

thats weird because i have a dazzle aswell and i use pinnacle studio 12 plus and i found nothing wrong with it you say there was buzzing i has my headphones turned up to full blast and no buz was found but have you checked your inputs on your dazzle becasue sometimes some electrical currents can mess it up

the quality for the dazzle is good. As i have one, the only problem is when you use it for cod5(only game ive tried) the bad thing is when you use a grenade or artillery strike the audio will crackly, but if your going to make montages with it or vids why not have music in less your going to be talking through the whole thing just edit those noises out thats all. but in all its a fine product. I might make a review of the product as well.

theres no buzz, and the video quality is almost the same, except for brightness. The audio quality is exactly the same.

thats weird because i have a dazzle aswell and i use pinnacle studio 12 plus and i found nothing wrong with it you say there was buzzing i has my headphones turned up to full blast and no buz was found but have you checked your inputs on your dazzle becasue sometimes some electrical currents can mess it up
