@Ilvion I agree with your statement. Im involved with the Sea Shepherd and I would have no problem with irritating the hell out of the japanese whalers.
Fucking hippies who gives you the right to go onto someone elses property and break the LAW? We can't do it so why can you? If you want change get a decent promotional campaign going and get voted into the House of Commons!!! Fucking wasters
They highlighted the fact that the govt is still, in its 2008 Energy White Paper, justifying the use of 'Carbon Dinosaurs' in an age when investment into more energy producing renewables are needed.
Note: the new E.On coal plants do plan to have carbon capture and storage i beleive?
i had the chance of visiting the coal power plant side in rotterdam and get lectured on CCS. eon is keen on it and do work on it, but at the moment they are only running a pilot. the next bigger ccs implemented will not even capture 50% of the carbon. eon and rotterdam climate initiative say we cannot make it without ccs, but i still believe in renewables!
the money just has to be redistributed. so thank you greenpeace for pointing it out again and again that no new coal powerplants can be build
