when i was a kid i was on this ride i can't rember if there real fish in there or not if any one rembers can someone let me know ty all

My general thoughts on the ride - I like what they've done for the most part. I kind of miss the real sea serpent at the end, but I know why he's not there. The only thing I wish they did differently was addressing the outer lagoon a bit better. It's so barren. Surely they could of refurbed some of those old lobsters and eels or something.

Why isn't he there? There was a sea serpent at the end? DARN!! I went on the old ride when I was like 5, and I can barely remember it. :(

I'm not sure if it was Lasseter or Baxter who said it, but it wasn't a good way to end the experience. There was originally a place for it in the ride on paper, but they decided against it and put a fake rock work prop of a sea serpent and a mermaid as a homage.

wich rock is the shape of the mermaid? at wat time cuz i can only find the serpants =(

if they were to refurbish the lobsters and crabs, that would add to the cost because having robots underwater can really corrod their electronic systems adding more money from the repair costs

The special effects are awesome...i remember when i rode it that those glowing fish things were the freakest part!!!

when they say ," lets take her up before we have the sight of a sea serpant, or an encounter of a mermaid!" there is a sea sepant rock formation infront of you to honor Walt Disney's original ride!

This is VERY similar to the new updated "The Seas, with Nemo and Friends" at EPCOT. While the Magic Kingdom did away with "20,000 Leagues Under The Sea", this was a much needed lift to the old "Living Seas" attraction. P.S. One big plus at the EPCOT attraction is the projection of the animated fish with the REAL fish and sharks etc.

While the long gone 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea ride at WDW is still my favorite of all the Sub rides, I am so happy to see it come back in a new form. Thanks so much for posting this video as I cant wait to go to DL in the near future.

the ride is 15 minutes long and its amazing. i went last night... the screens are incorporated in the ride. so it blends the screens and the ride together. its pretty unbeliebable. u have to ride it to understand. but it is fantastic

One of the turtles have an exposed body showing what's under the shell on the right side of the sub. And that is an electric box. Somebody should tell them about that...

We rode on June 15th, park was open at 9 my husband had been in line since 6:30 am. We finally got to ride at 10:15. It was crazy packed.

It was a great ride, even better in person.

I absolutely love the tributes throughout the ride to what the attraction used to be, done in true Disney fashion!!!! (Diving helmet, giant clams, some of the big fish, eels, suckenn ship during Bruce's scene, rock formation of the sea serpent and mention of the mermaid) ! If there are others I've missed, let me know!!!!!!

well, The First Part Included Parts Of The Press Event And Queue..

And I Think This One Was The Last Sub Of The Bunch (3) On The Loading Dock, Along With A Little Stopping At The Begining, So It's A Bit Longer..

I was a little kid when I rode the original submarines, so I don't remember them too much. But, this looks really boring. Plus, I'm not a big fan of Nemo, so that might be another reason why I don't really think I'd enjoy the ride. :x
