I saw this musical on Broadway. During "For Good", my entire group was in tears. I sobbed through the rest of the show. Although, I don't think Indina was in the version I saw, unfortunately.
man, i just started crying watching this vid. wicked has such powerful music! i cry in like evry song during it and when i saw it in chicago, i was in the 11th row and evrything just felt so real. i lllluuuvvvvv idina and kristin... they r just sooooooo perfect 4 these roles.... no1 can evr match them - EVER.
I did too. So glad I'm not the only one. You're so right, Wicked's music is so powerful and emotional. For Good and As Long As You're Mine makes me cry everytime. I really hope the producers don't ruin it when they bring it out as a movie in 2014 else they will have far too many angry fans on their hands!
Yeah let's hope. I'm looking forward to it but I'll be beyond mad if they ruin it. If they do it like Hairspray, Mamma Mia and Rent I'll be happy cos they moved seamlessly from stage to film without being too flashy, cheesy or just awful! They were all brilliant.
me 2..... broadway is soooooo my thing and i would llluuuvvv 2 b in it... 2 meet idina, kristen, norbert, christopher, evry1 would b sooooooooo amazing!!!!!!!! especially norbert - he is my hart-throb!!! <3 i luv watching idina in the movie 'enchanted'. lol - that is such a different character 4 her and it is soooo funny 2 watch her cause nancy and elphaba and maureen (rent) r sooooo different. she is sooooo amazing and i wish i could b just like her!!!
first of all you want to improve your voice comsider getting a singing teacher it doesn't matter if your voice is great you want to improve and consider taking an acting or drama class itll realy show and trust me it really help with the problem it may be a problem maybe not stagefright also if your going for glinda take an opera class for the high note currently im in one i hope to get on broadway i may not but i hope i do but trust me its a long and hard road the the end is well worth the trip
doesnt evry1 wish they would? man, i only sing elphaba's lines when i listen 2 the soundtrack. how low can u get in ur range? cause i'm not that girl goes down 2 low f's and e's. i m working on getting those notes w/ my voice teacher, but it is tough! idk if i will evr get them cause my range isnt that big. i m soooo amazed at how well idina hits those notes - i wish i could as well as her....
haha. I would love to be in the West End in Wicked. Its the total dream! But I always take Glinda's lines. I can hit pretty much every note in the show now, so who knows hehe. :D

yah, she goes to the back of the stage where it is dark and nobody can see her, and there is a tiny platform with a ring that goes around her waist, and hanging from that is fabric the same material as her costume that covers that platform, and when she is afely locked in, she flys, and if it is not locked, the computer backstage will tell it, and it wwont go up.
well, we obviously weren't as good as kristin and idina...but we did pretty well! lol. as if people don't cry enough at graduations, this one really made us cry!
