How about a boycott and some protests? I think that it's perfectly okay for stores like Wal-Mart to do what they do, as long as we have the right to stop them. So excercize that!
For fun.....Google what Walmart plans to do with RFID tags. They're basically branding the customers. They'll know when you came last and what you bought. The tag is embedding in the products!
