Evangelist Grant Williams from axe2root ministries basicly says that we do not have to keep the 10 commandments ,is he a liar? i think so read revelations 14:12 revelations 22:14 proverbs 28:9 .
@3369760230 Revelation 14:12 (King James Version) 12Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.
You quote 'are we folloing Yahweh or the traditions of man...' Your first part is sound the Torah (10 Commandments) are Yahweh's commandments, and then you start speaking about the traditions of men which is the false apostle Shaul aka Paul of Tarsus - nullifying Yahweh's commandments which are set in stone for all time. If the teachings of Shaul of Tarsus were to keep the law .. then millions would not be damned by following a false gospel.
Col 2:14-16: "Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross; And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it. Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holy day, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days."
Three feast days of the OT were REQUIRED to go to the tabernacle to keep. No tabernacle on planet earth.
Additionally, "The law of the Spirit of life in Christ has made me free from the law of sin and death" (Romans 8:2. ) The law was NOT made for a righteous man (1 Tim 1:9)
Galatians 3:24 says: Therefore the law was our tutor to bring us to Christ, that we might be justified by faith; vs 25 says: but after faith has come, we are no longer under a tutor. THIS IS PRETTY CLEAR....
Read Galatians 3 - they are called "foolish Galatians!" "...Did you receive the Spirit by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith?" vs. 13 "Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law,..."
I do not want to "fall from grace" as you obviously do, wanting to be justified by the law. The law of the Spirit of life in Christ has set us free from the law of sin and death"!!!! (Romans 8:2)
Galatians 4:21-24 reads: Tell me, you who desire to be under the law, do you not hear the law? For it is written that Abraham had two sons: the one by a bond woman, the other by a freewoman....which things are symbolic: For these are the two covenants: the one from Mount Sinai which gives birth to bondage, which is Hagar - ....
By the way, we are NOT going to kill or break the TEN if we are walking by the Spirit of the Lord, letting God purify our hearts with/through faith. "A man is justified by faith apart from the deeds of the law." Romans 3:28
We can't be perfect by law keeping from all sin and iniquity. But if we are not willing to repent from those sins and practice God's commandments after we come to Jesus, then we are not saved. John 3-5. Let's not forget to obey God's commandments because Jesus came and died for us. God didn't die on a cross to save us from his commandments given in the law, he died to save us from sin. Unless of course, Moses, the prophets, Yahshua, Paul, Peter, James and Luke were wrong?
I have multiple disabilities that often make it very difficult or impossible to attend church.
When I DO go with these disabilities, the others there, including the pastor, do not understand.
I KNOW it's not all about me, but frankly I am SICK TO DEATH of being treated worse than I would treat a dog! I am NOT ABOUT to go to yet another church and be treated YET AGAIN this same way! I am NOT a glutton for punishment! ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!
Bother me one more time with this, and I will block you, just like I have blocked a long list of people (and the list is growing), and will then have to ask you to leave me alone.
Please stop talking to me out of ignorance. You don't have much of an idea at all what's really going on with me, and you haven't bothered to find out before asking me these questions and giving me your advice and sermons.
Yes I am born again. I just don't do organized religion. Mine is more disorganized. Don't you get it?
I still follow Christ, but I don't adhere to any denomination or whatever.
I am SICK of people questioning my salvation because of all I have endured and what it has done to me!
Please kindly stop bugging me with that.
It's just that I have endured rape and a LOT of abuse and mistreatment, much of it at the hands of "ministers" and "pastors" and such. I am sick and tired of it all.
In that video I stated that I am no longer a Messianic because I was treated SHAMEFULLY by a so-called "Messianic pastor."
I have HAD IT with organized religion and whatever! I have HAD IT with being treated worse than cow dung by so many so-called "pastors" and "ministers"!
Seriously, you need to read my channel page and whatnot to get an idea of what's going on with me, otherwise you end up speaking out of ignorance as to what's really going on.
To my commandment keeping brothren: Don't let unlearned people make you think Paul said no one should judge you for eating pork. What Paul was actually saying was don't let anyone criticize you for eating kosher! the word for "judge", in the greek, means "criticize". don't let anyone judge you"...but the body is[italics not in text] of Christ". Don't let anyone but the body of Christ criticize you regarding your commandment keeping. The pagans won't obey, and the body will caution you to obey
Yahshua perfected us from iniquity, what outwardly obeying God's commandments could never do - but we can and should obey the 10 commandments. They are not greivious. On the contrary, what the Yehudim added to the Torah with their traditions made obediance difficult, but Moses said "It is NOT TOO DIFFICULT FOR YOU". "Blessed are they who keep the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus".
"If you love me, keep my commandments"
"but I will say 'depart from me you who practice LAWLESSNESS"
John146only, I used to believe like you,but it's illogical. While no man can be perfect because iniquity is in our hearts, yet we could always obey the commandments outwardly. God had to take care of the inward through Christ, but we must still obey the outward. Paul said "touching the law, I was perfect". You can keep the 10 commandments. Like the sabbath, it's not a burden but a joy to keep. Isaiah 66 says everyone will obey the sabbath and feasts when Yahshua returns.
yes we should uphold the law, the law was a shadow of things to come, so what is keeping the festival? here's the whole verse 8 from 1 Cor 5., 8Therefore let us keep the Festival, not with the old yeast, the yeast of malice and wickedness, but with bread without yeast, the bread of sincerity and truth. so keeping the festival is keeping the bread of sincerity and truth.
Christ is the end of the law so that there may be righteousness for everyone who believes. -Romans 10:4
Who wre the "Kahilet" that sat at the base of mount Sinai and became the "Bride" of YHUH and if they ceased, when was that. OR, is the "New Testiment" only a continuation of the Old, or, a renewed covenant??? (Brit Chadashah, not brand new, but renewed)
Well the best way I could put it is. The Ten Commandments are for us, because God already knew about everyone when he gave the Commandments, so it was for the past, present, and future
Richard .. How about those of us who have no say as to the days we work on because of our jobs.. such as police ,firemen , medical personal, emergency services, etc, etc, are we as christians who have these type jobs sinning by working on the sabbath? and if so should I find employment that does not require of me to work on the sabbath? I realize in our society today there is a need for some people to work on the sabbath... should we just allow the sinners to fill all those positions? Curious!
It seems to me the first thing is to understand what the Word of God says. Then as we transform our minds and submit to the Holy Spirit, I believe God will guide us and help us to grow into the fulness of Christ.
Read Matthew 12:1-14; "He (Jesus) said to them, "If any of you has a sheep and it falls into a pit on the Sabbath, will you not take hold of it and lift it out? How much more valuable is a man than a sheep! Therefore it is lawful to do good on the Sabbath."
Therefore do not let anyone judge you by what you eat or drink, or with regard to a religious festival, a New Moon celebration or a Sabbath day. These are a shadow of the things that were to come; the reality, however, is found in Christ. Colossians 2 16-17
ok i really want to worship God on his set day for the sabbath....but way should i do?? as my church i attend is on a sunday....i really love to obey his sabbath...but Christians say it works out better for us on a sunday cause of our culture...tore between to things...and i want to Follow Yaweh
Exodus 20:8-11 Remember the Sabbath day by keeping it holy. Six days you shall labor and do all your work, but the seventh day is a Sabbath to Yahweh your God. On it you shall not do any work, neither you, nor your son or daughter, nor your manservant or maidservant, nor your animals, nor the alien within your gates. For in six days Yahweh made the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that is in them, but he rested on the seventh day. Therefore Yahweh blessed the Sabbath day and made it holy.
Just a suggestion: Seventh Day Adventists worship Jesus Christ on the Sabbath, and keep the 10 commandements, believe in grace, and stick to the Bible.
I agree with you but, I still seem to have some queries regarding the Sabbath (coz we have a different calendar and coz of the verse that discusses different people's observance of Holy days) and how would I go about observing the Sabbath/feasts anyway coz I don't know what I would have to do?
Also, Jesus said that His commands were 'love God' and 'love thy neighbour' and that is the 'fulfillment' of the Law??
Im not arguing with you, I WANT to obey Yahweh and NOT man but, I still get confused!
Yeshua kept the feasts and worshipped/attended the synagogue on Sabbaths as was His custom. Follow Him not men. He did not come to destroy the Torah. Read Matthew 5
Exodus 20:8-11 Remember the Sabbath day by keeping it holy. Six days you shall labor and do all your work, but the seventh day is a Sabbath to Yahweh your God. I agree but, when I read the NT and it says that by walking in the Spirit, there is no law coz the Spirit IS our Law and Galatians tells us the fruits of the sinfulnature and the fruits of the Spirit.
The Law is a 'shadow' of things to come (eg. animal sacrifice = Jesus' sacrifice, Sabbath = Jesus' rest of new Covenant...Heb:4:10: "For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, AS DID GOD FROM HIS"!
And, what about the Feasts-how do I observe them? So confused :o(
Thank you for this video. As a Messianic, I keep running into problems with Christians who keep telling me that I don't need to follow the Torah, and I haven't really known what to tell them.
