  • So that device is on the dash of the police car, and the cops walks up to a car... and says " Sir, my dash device is showing that You are speeding. come to my car and look??!!!!!" isn't that a bit stupid, because once outside your car you are bound to sign all the papers and cannot resist officers.

  • @dogalways He is actually using the radar's handheld remote to change settings.

  • Best thing to do,don't speed.

  • did anyone notice that the cop was texting??? at 00:35

  • Cops should do real work, like catch drug dealers and rapists. Not pull people over, especially since they speed as well.

  • not texting, that looks like a remote, for the dashboard radar I would imagine

  • Hey at 0:35 that cop is texting!

  • Great informative video!

  • learned something new today!

  • Very infromative, I'm glad you can explain this in a way that isn't misleading to the public like 60 minutes show did

    -Hunt

  • so, its illegal for me to play with my cell phone while driving, but they can push buttons, read displays, talk into phone/cb and play with laptop with no consequences? wtf

  • @rdperkix13 yes. but depending on the laws in your area a laptop on a fixed mount is ok, so you can do it too if you get one installed in your car.

  • Wrong. It normally reads the strongest target. Radar with Fastest Speed reads the fastest but only displays a speed; it's up to the officer to determine the vehicle's ID. "Reflection and absortion" [sic] don't exist as radar issues and radar works fine around airports. Otherwise, you're right on target.

  • They forgot to mention, that radar scans MULTIPLE vehicles at once and showing the officer the vehicle traveling the fastest. So how the hell does he know who that is lol also radar is easily screwed up by reflection, refraction, absortion and RFI. And does not work properly in areas such as airports, ect. So next time you get a ticket, fight it! 3% of people contest a ticket, 70% of drivers ADMIT they were speeding when a cop asks "Do you know why I pulled you over?" Say "No sir" next time.

  • Cop....Citizens on Patrol. That's what he looked like he belonged to.

  • i had to wait for a crane company to put a giant machine on the back of my truck so i had about 12 hours down time in this sacramento,ca shopping center parking lot & a witnessed a motorcycle cop(with radar) pull over 44 people in 12 hours he would aim the gun & sometimes he would quickly tip the front of the gun down & up again almost in a whipping motion i think he was purposely tweaking some exploit but i dont have proof if anyone knows please speak up

  • if that "cop" at the start of the video approached me, id prolly just drive away.

  • @Basfoo Nerd Patrol

  • @Basfoo lol too funny

  • @Basfoo he looks like a mall security guard.... America is the living proof that the movie "Police Academy" is in real life

  • @b4dan92 very true

  • They used an MR2. Awesome car. Good information. Thanks

  • Fist car as an MR2.

  • 0:20 WTF

    this cop!

    LMAO

    WoW

    Rookie!

  • aw man the integrated it with the police cars speedometer. God damn. At least the radar still registered 15mph slower than my gps/speedometer on my motorcycle.

  • Very informative, great production value compared to stuff you usually see on Youtube.

  • Your comment just made me laugh...it's so true!
