  • ginobili and terry fucked up his career

  • hes a beast except in nba showtime... he gets no love in the game

  • Finley in his prime was a f in beast!!!!!!!

  • @onblock7 word, I was a huge fan, he use to even get some MVP votes then

  • But yet you have these dumb ass kids from this generation that claim that NO big, strong & athletic big guards existed in the 90's except MJ LOL!!

The utter stupidity of them is downright embarrassing..

  • @RealFan357 Your shooting guard was supposed to be atleast 6 foot 5 for real. New school head don't know how nice dudes was back then with. Nor do they care.

  • Cuban is a punk and shouldve kept Finley.. Finley should've retired a Maverick

  • Who dunks on the Admiral?

  • @PJHunterTJ shaq.

  • Daaaaaaaamn

  • in finley's maverick years, he was a BEAST, dunked with POWER and style this man had a nice career going on with the mavericks, but was better comin onto the spurs, a ring beats stats any day of the week

  • The Mavs not winning cause they don't play D, they play offense and think that's gone take up for the D they not playing

  • the mavs are certainly better without finley. when he was with the mavs, they couldn't beat the spurs. and when he joined spurs, they couldn't beat the mavs.

  • I wouldn't say that. The main reason the Mavs couldn't beat the Spurs when Fin played for the team was that Duncan was at his peak and the Mavs were just helpless in trying to defend him.

  • yeah the mavs were very offensive-minded back then with finley and nash. when Avery became the coach, they became a great defensive team.

  • THIS HERE, PERIOD. Plus they had D ROB and Malik Rose who abused them down low, they had a twin tower combo and did NOT play small ball, when D Rob left they did play it and they were vulnerable against he Mavs style of play, before that they owned them big TIME.

  • The way things worked: fed Duncan in the post, let him take on...Bradley/LaFrentz/shit one-on-one. If prevented, swing it back the other way to Robinson. If double, move it around to find an open shooter or a lane to drive into. Made me feel incredibly helpless.

Then Robinson retired, and the Mavs brought in Damp, who's actually underrated as a post defender. Duncan still goes off, but that's typical.

  • Ha is that why they got taken out by the 8th seed team? They got that one lucky break from ginobili to get to the Championship which u lost to the Heat who the Spurs would have smashed. Finley with the Mavs=no rings. Finley without the Mavs=1 ring. So what does that say about the Mavs. Finley got what he deserved

  • But he got a RING there, they never got one in Dallas, so no rings is not better than ONE RING. Fukk it.

  • Let's not remember that they gave them a hell of a tough time in 2003, and Dirk missed more than a half of that series...

  • Back in his day Fin dunked on everyone. Robinson, Deke, the Mailman all suffered from his beastliness.

It was much more fun watching him dunk on other teams than him dunking on the Mavs though.

  • yes, yes, big powerstop, and slam! Nice dunk, thanks for the memories mr finley!

  • he became a jump shooter in dallas

  • I wouldn't say that. After 2003, he definitely became a jump shooter as he aged and Nowitzki developed his all-around offensive game. But before that, he was still attacking the rim a lot. His jump shot just got a whole lot more reliable once he got to Big D.

  • that's what i said!
