  • Bein' that this is an older vid, you were doin' well back then, hope to come across one of your newr ones and hear how you progressed. This is fairly good slide work better than most beginners and some that think sliding is a couple slide notes used while playing a tune where thye are mostly fingering. I only express my own thoughts. Get some ideas from Dobro players as well.

  • @fngrpkn06 unfortunately I haven't had the time to record any new videos lately. Also I kind of shifted from playing blues to more "modern" stuff so I guess I'm a little out of practice. Anyway, thank you for the comment :) The idea for this song came out of nowhere ;)

  • You might be German but to my American ears you sound like you're from the Mississippi Delta! :)

  • Yes, I did hear hear about the odd tuning, I actually tuned my electric guitar to a rough equivalent to Vestapol tuning.

  • Wow gotta get me one of those.. I seen one done in a shop in Sacramento.

  • @hillfolkloki996 If you wanna buy a resonator guitar JUST for playing with a slide, this one will do just fine. If you wanna play songs in standard tuning like on a normal acoustic guitar, you will have trouble tuning it properly. The bridge on this thing has no adjustment for the b string and only works for open tunings

  • kommst du von den deutschen Sump? also Hamburg, die Niederlanden?

  • I love bottleneck blues (:

  • I love that !

  • @Ask6296 Haha thank you!

  • You might be white and German but anyone who feels the blues can play it. Keep it up!

  • tuning?

  • @Hemanndemon2 Open G I think

  • is the action on that resenator high or can you play it like a regular acoustic

  • @SpenserAteTheWorld It's pretty high...like if you try to play basic open chords it's gonna sound detuned. It's better for bottleneck playing

  • wow, man, this is some awesome swamp-blues playin' there!

    gut gemacht(-:

  • thank you!

  • good start man, sounding good.

  • Check out kenileeburgess on this site for some good open D and open G classic song lessons. Cheers Terry
