In traditional archery, you draw to your cheek thus being unable to aim with the arrow. Instead, you look at your target and your hands will make minute adjustments. Essentially you "will" your arrow to the target.
@Grimganker You dont Have to draw to your cheek, it depends on your form and style of shooting and other things, I only draw to the front of my chin for example. You can still aim with the arrow, you just look at the point of the arrow, aim at the target.

Just recently got myself a PSE Impala and am loving every minute of it. It's a 55# but it draws like a 45 and it draws so smoothly. The most beautiful recurve bow I've ever had the pleasure of shooting.

The way to tell if a bow is a recurve or a longbow is to look at the string, if the string is tuching the belly of the bow when strung its a recurve if not its a longbow. my guess is that he is using a reflex deflex longbow

is that bow considered a recurve or a long bow because it does have a little recurve in it

The way to tell if a bow is a recurve or a longbow is to look at the string, if the string is tuching the belly of the bow when strung its a recurve if not its a longbow. my guess is that he is using a reflex deflex longbow
