  • she is one of the reals queen of "POP".

  • best song ever by rock's greatest ever female icon.

  • Very original....even compared with modern stuff. To just label her and the Band as Punk is to limit them. She loves to perform. Punk was/is about freedom to do what u want; express yourself and f##k what others think about it. People still want to see her.

She´s beautiful in many ways. An Artist.

  • Archangel Gavriel ?

  • Makes love to the stage... A true artist!!!

  • She is so lovely

  • A childhood sweetheart? Yup and she got to give me as many nightmares as pleasant dreams!

  • What's wrong with these old CYNICS? Afraid of your past cos it reminds you of how skinny you were, how much you cared??? Look at you now you fat hypocritical fuckers...

  • whatever happen to Steve Severin and Budgie?

  • but at least shes not advertising butter like mr lydon

  • i do think once she tas three solo albums under her belt she wont need to rehash the past , after all that isnt what punk was supposed to be about

  • back to the birth of the goth....

  • thanks for that

  • Jeez, I'm going to rub one out. SHE'S So HOT!

  • so?... :/

  • @Galactu5 Ahahaha !!! you fuckin' asshole !! ^^

  • @FuckZEduck

Heh, looks like I got 4 thumbs up for my comment, so I'm not the only one that feels so inclined to *ahem* enjoy themselves while looking at her! I think she would be flattered! ^^\( ^ _ ^ )/^^

  • wow! I didn't think she would perform the banshees songs on her solo tour! it makes me want to see her even more!

  • Damn, i didn't know she still performed... All hail youtube...

  • like her outfit its a great song

  • nightshift..that song used to scare the hell out of me. She still however makes it pay here in her performance. The guitarist over flanges Sir John's great guitar however. I must say I hear The Door's "The End" in this one..they always being an influence on the Banshees.

  • You should try locking them if they can't be closed properly... At least you're not hearing Windows, though...

  • You are right about the Door's influence. Many of those punk and post-punk bands of the late 70s and 80s were influenced by either Jim Morrison or David Bowie as far as vocal delivery was concerned.

  • Well Jim yes I agree (as in Nietsche/ the Oedipeus like "the End") )but Bowie and the Spider from Mars?? Hmmmm...I think that perhaps you mean Roxy Music/Ferry had some effect on a lot of the post-punk as you say- not ness. the Banshees per se. S+B probably take some influence from German expressionisim, films of the Bauhaus and possibly other art groups of the early last century- Dada/anti-fascist in scope etc.

  • See Nina Hagen's version of Bowie's 'Ziggy Stardust' or Bauhaus' version.

  • seen her live in dublin a few months back ,it was de biz, she still has it big time and looks great, her album mantaray, rocks check it out , shes still the best,

  • once i loved her so much, now it's so sad to hear her singing, she doesn't have no more voice. it's a pity

  • i know what you mean, but i don't think she has no voice left, i think that with age she's lost the ability to hit so many high notes and shriek as much as she used to; she still sounds great in my opinion, it's just a different great from way back in the 80s

  • didn't realise siouxsie played banshees songs at her shows! I really want to go and see her now

  • thanks. Nightshift is great.
