Remember, most European countries released their entire archives of UFO-files into the public domain. Even US released many UFO-docs under FOIA. The process is still ongoing and, simply logic tell us, it will take us a couple of centuries upon completion (whatever the truth will be). So all false hopes about a sudden disclosure are snake-oil products.

It is quite possible that we agreed before our births not to require certain knowledge sets during our incarnation as part of a grand intergalactic evolutionary experiment which we volitionally volunteered to participate in. Sometimes, but not always, simply knowing what the "behind the scenes causality" is, ruins the experiment, much as with the effect of the observer upon that which is observed. I think we are in about the right place, however it IS time for us to own up to the known reality

It is easy enough to release these files...the UK have done so already and it would be cheaper than dealing with loads of FOIA requests. Unfortunately it does not amount to the full disclosure people want.
What is needed is for the men and women who testified at the Disclosure Project Press Conference in 2001 to have their day in Congress and for a constructive debate to take place.

Yes but still, since when can we postpone reality? If Ets are part of reality, we just have to admit it and move on from there. Its still about our evolution, not instant contact. This will be a great kick in the butt of all our archaic world views that are holding us back.

Why do isolationist (geocentrisist) waste their time debunking conspirators if we're all wrong? Because they don't want to believe, they can't accept intelligence beyond their perceptions. I find personally directed rebuttals concerning because they seem to subdue the argument rather than dispute it. What is so scary about intelligence beyond the artificial bubble called Earth? I have many theories why. Humans can't stop fighting with each other and acknowledge ourselves as ONE. It's a shame.

Why do salvation-from-ET-seeker not accept, they are regarded as the obstacle by govts around our planet to speed up the ongoing disclosere process, that was started 10 years ago? Because as chimapanses want a banana from a human, humans expect free energy, spiritual enlightment, infinite life, interstellar travel - and whatever else from ETs. However they forget, they are mentally far not evolved enough yet. So a hamburger eating and coke drinking species remains on the top of evolution. ;-))

Woah touche! You got a strong point there. However it's not about waiting for little gifts from Ets, it's about trying to cure our own human disease of denial. Its about acknowledging a reality that exists and mightve existed long before us. Its about trying to grasp the magnitude of life in general and not reducing everything to our primitive level. We still have a lot to benefit from that, dont we?

Eintr3eipied8, unfortunatly humanity in its wholeness IS still primitive and acts irresponsible. We can't handle advanced opportunities and their implications, as monkeys can not handle nuclear power. Otherwise ETs themselves showed up publicly in an unambigous manner and disclosed their technology to humanity. I've never heard, such a thing happened. Did you?

buggfire, I think, I have to disappoint you. Around UFO cover-up (that was justified during cold war) a multi-billion UFO/conspiracytainment industry grew up. This industry defends itself by continously producing new, people fooling lies. Conclusion: No matter, how transparent US govt would be, commercial conspiracy claims will never die out and there are enough conspiracy enthusiasts out there, who colport and parrot these claims. Hence the business remains self-perpetuating.

Jimmy Carter promised to open the UFO books if he were elected. Either there's nothing to be known, or once a President is briefed on the subject it becomes obvious why it has to be kept a secret. (Or I suppose there's a conspiracy to keep it secret, even from elected representatives.)

Nothing will be disclosed, since democratic presidents are never briefed in the topic. They are security risks. Podesta used the 'UFO bonus' to collect votes without exposing Obama himself to this political non-issue. If one can't believe that, he should vist tripple-w (dot) presidentialufo (dot) com read the Podesta article. Podesta's official point of view is, he doubts the existence of alien creatures at all. However note, the real danger is on disclosure of advanced technologies.

I disagree. Democratic presidents were briefed on the subject, they just had to get their briefings from the outside. I also disagree with you on his offical view. His view is consistant with any highly visable public offical who has dared mention the topic. You don't go to the National Press Club unless you believe there is something going on. We will have disclosure.

Ovied, sorry to tell, but you are completly wrong here. Read the forementioned article. What he told, are historical facts. However, there is no such thing like a «outside source». The issue, that has convinced every president to be silent yet is, Heim Theory [a multidimensional quantum theory] couldn't kept longer under the rug, if gravitomagnetically proppeled crafts would be acknowledged. Since this thing is really dangerous (I work on it) it's better to wait until humanity matured.

Mcshoot, you are wrong here. The Nazi-UFO-claim is mainstream-conspiracytainment crap, made up by snake-oil sellers. There is not even a theory behind that. Contemporary multidim. quantum theories (that exist in several flavors but differ only in minor aspects) tell us, e.g. a gravito-photon is created whenever a coupled electron pair (e.g. Cooper pair; obeying bosonic statistics) is accelerated. The analogy to Maxwell's law, an accelerated electron creates an oridnary photon.

Mcshoot, every conspiracy site parrots, the so called Nazi bell consisted of two SC, counterrotating mercury cylinders. Note, Hg becomes a SC at 4.2K.
However there is no other effect than e very weak gravitomagnetic London moment [Tajmar et al, 2006] where forces are even compensated - since the two cylinders counter-rotate. Conclusion: The thing is a fairy tale.
