If Ewing had at least someone on Allan Houston's level in the early 90's, I'm sure we would've won. We got Buck Williams, Derek Harper, Herb Williams and Doc Rivers when they were past their primes. We got Larry Johnson after his back injury. Check all their stats before they came to the Knicks.

we could have had 2 rings during the Ewing era. Starks had the worst shooting night in Knicks history in the finals against Houston, costing us a ring. Ewing was injured for the lockout season so we had no big man in the middle against Duncan and Robinson...Ewing was a 20-10 guy at that point, his absence hurt us big.

Actually, nykspree, Ewing was more of a 17- 10 guy by 99, but I still agree that a healthy Ewing would have definitely made that series more competitive, especially when you consider that New York started Chris Dudley at center for the start of the Finals that year. Ewing would have given that team a big boost.
