  • TX MAN!

  • @redeemed0204 Oh, you want to play the "one scripture" game? Then please tell me how you view Matthew 3:16-17? O:)

Lol, ok, so that's one passage, not verse, but still, it's the only passage you need to prove that God is three in one.

  • Wooow !! Great video my friend !!

  • @redeemed0204 I agree that Jesus is God, but Jesus is not the Father. He prays to the Father for goodness sake. And he nowhere says that he is the father. In John 14:9 he says that if you've seen him you've seen the Father this doesn't mean that he is the Father just that he so reveals the Father to those who see him.

Read Matthew 12, the dialogue at the start of that makes 0 sense if Jesus is the Father.

  • @redeemed0204 Jesus is also clearly God, was he talking to himself?

Passage after passage in the Bible simply make no sense if the Father and the son and the spirit are not distinct persons.

John 1 is another good example, "In the beginning was the word and the word was with God, and the word was God", if there are not there two persons who can be rightly be called God you have someone who is with themself and idea that no sober man will agree with.

  • @redeemed0204 You ahve inserted the words "I am that helper" they are not used. Read the whole of chapter 14, if Jesus and the Father and the Spirit are all the same person that person is seriously schizophrenic...

  • @redeemed0204 Not in one isolated verse, you have to look at the whole of the Bible.

    a) God is declared to be one.

    b) Jesus is declared to be God, yet he prays to the Father, says "my Father is greater than I" and interacts with him etc, so cannot be the same person.

    c) The holy spirit is also clearly God yet Jesus refers to him as "another helper" i.e. not Jesus, also Jesus speaks of the Father sending the spirit, i.e. the Spirit is not the Father.

    You put these ideas together.

  • @redeemed0204 You are right that the words omnipresent and trinity are not used anywhere in the Bible, yet God is clearly taught to be everywhere at all times, and he is clearly taught to be one being yet three persons. ("hear oh Israel the Lord your God, the Lord is one", "if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord..." "I am in the father and the father is in me" (he cannot be in the father if he and the father are utterly indistinct), "if I go to the Father I will send another helper".

  • “And when your people ask, ‘Why did the Lord our God do all this to us?’ you must reply, ‘You rejected him and gave yourselves to foreign gods

    Jeremiah 5:19

  • Very true

  • This is dead on accurate. Which sermon is this from?

  • i prayed almost all my life for a girl that was perfect for me... and I have her and I STILL wordhip god and I thank him everyday for her... and Im not depressed anymore and im happy and a better person now... is that good??

  • @2dittoz The question is, which comes first, God or something else, which is most important to us etc. It's not wrong to be happy that we have many of the good things God has made the problem is when we treat them as being more important than God.

  • I'd be more impressed if Hell was a Christian idea in the first place. After all if you go to the underworld ruled by Hel then you can't go to Valhalla where you feast all night and fight all day in preparation for the glorious battle at the end of time LOOK IT UP!

  • @TheIDCLeader The christian concept of hell is radically different, it is ruled over by God and is a place of right punishment for rebellion against him. It is not controlled by some demon or something.

  • @Rhuanjl But the christian concept of hell isn't even from the bible. Can you find me the bible passage that explains what hell is?

  • @TheIDCLeader There are many passages, one would be the end of Mark 9 when Jesus talks of the place where the worm does not die and the fire is not quenched.

  • At 5:00, the preacher starts off by saying things that Jesus saves us from. At 5:03, it says "and God" with a devil showing up on the video. So Jesus saves us from God? Doesn't make sense (unless I am hearing him incorrectly).

  • @IAmANaturalBeauty : u hear right hes talking about the wrath of god for our sins

  • before you make another video try walking in love and stop putting pictures of preachers you no nothing whatsoever about. If you have a problem with that you can reach at migzm80@yahoo.com this is a Christian that does not have a problem confronting you.

  • So amazingly true...God have mercy on us

  • thank you! Ive been dealing with this.

  • "the human heart is an idol factory" - So, god knowing that this was an outcome of his design, one must ask: if this outcome troubles god so much, why did he make us this way? And more, why did he make us this way and then *punish* us for his design? There is no logic in this at all. None.

  • @s3tione Hi, God Made us this way 2 Give everything 2 Him And Worship Him! 2 luv God with all of our heart, soul, mind, and might! But when we take what God designed n us and use it 2 Glorify ourselves, our idols, or any other gods, it is then Sin, which is punishable by death- We have broken the first commandment. so its not that God made us wrong - he equipped us with all we need to glorify him ya know. so the question is not y punish us, it should be y have u had mercy on me thus far God?

  • Ouch! I think I just got convicted! Thank you for posting.

  • what did he say in 5:04 ??!?!?!

  • Regardless We will all be judged for our sin.

  • You are not separated from God in hell, you are experiencing the wrath of God in hell, that's what hell is, the wrath of God NOT the separation from God.

God is present in hell, just as He is present everywhere. If you deny that, then you deny the omni-presence of God.

  • @TheHonestTheist Just interested...where does the bible use the word omni-present?

  • @HypoTheLlamas Psalm 139:7-12 just one ref, a quick google would of answered your question, do that if you still want more.

  • @TheHonestTheist I cant find the word Omni-Present in that text....

  • @HypoTheLlamas the "word" doesn't exist in scripture, do you expect it to? It wasn't even invented in the time of the scribes! That scripture does imply it though, which should be enough.

  • @TheHonestTheist I was just asking where the word was and you said it was in Psalm 139:7-12, but the actual word isnt used there. No, the word doesnt necessarily have to be used as long as the concept is there... I believe in the Trinity and the word is not used but the concept is for sure in the bible. However, just like the doctrine of the trinity we have to check with scripture what we are saying something means that isnt used in the bible.

  • Anyone notice the apperance of Joey Fatone on here?

  • yep that was GREAT!!!!!!!!!!!

  • SOOO TRUE!!!!!!

  • Great vid man. I love the part where even if you get all the big expensive stuff you still won't find true satisfaction and comfort. It's so hard. This reality is not our home. God Bless. K

  • but he doesn't say this in his video... once you are out the hell your were in getting into a new car, or a job or a house or having a whatever once you get into that that's now your new hell, there's only one who can free us and it's Jesus Christ.

  • Who is giving this sermon anyone know?

  • Mark Driscoll

  • @bardfast42 hahaha didn't even notice :P

  • A Great book to read: Hostetler, Bob - American Idols - The Worship of the American Dream

  • i find it hard to believe in any god... especially the christian and islamic God, mainly because you have to jump to gain revelation but you might not be able to get yourself out again if it is not what you expected.

  • DUDE U TOTALY HIT THE NAIL MAN

folks dont realise their breakin the commandment of worshippin fake god(s) who cannot save us, 4 example its a blessin 2 hav a job but its not god...

if u had a clash between wrk and church where wud u be?

DUDES NEED SUM REFRESH THEIR WAYS MAN CUZ THE REAL GOD IS COMIN SOON...

  • And this is what I want to hear from Driscoll. This sermon jam is absolutely beautiful.

No silly jokes, everything as serious and strong as it should be - since it is the character of the issue at hand.

    No slang or vulgar language.

This was really worth watching and I wish he had all his sermons done in such a great style.

  • Is this Driscoll? If so, how awesome! How brutally honest. Jesus be praised.

  • May 21, 2011

The End of The World? READY ?This is a question we all ought to have in mind as we see the day approaching. The Bible says the day comes as a snare upon them who are not aware. Watching in the Bible is how we gain the light of understanding. Those who are sleeping and drunken are those in darkness in the churches who say no man can know the day or hour, but Daniel 12:4 says knowledge would be increased &we now know time &judgment as Ecclesiastes 8:5 indicates the two go 2gether

  • It can be any day, no man nor any angels know the day. Only GOD knows, so its best to not to contemplate it but be aware of signs yes but dont invest time in it. Rather in spreading GOD's word I am at fault because thats what I am working on now.

  • I'm starting to believe that the "No man knows" objection is a copout and excuse for NOT DILIGENTLY SEARCHING the scriptures particularly in light of the amount of information proving otherwise.

But God will indeed REVEAL the deep and secret things (Daniel2:22)

  • Except it also says that the day will come like a thief in the night. No one not even Jesus was to know the Day. so my question would be, are you picking and choosing what scriptures to listen to. and the answer would be yes, you are.

  • Perhaps you're not reading the entire BIBLE. If Jesus is God, how could Jesus NOT know when He will come back. Matt24:36 has been misinterpreted. God will nad has revealed the hidden secrets to His childrenthe servants (Amos3:7)

Mark 4:22 "For there is NOTHING HIDDEN, which shall not be manifested; neither has anything been kept secret. but that it shall come to pass"

There is a reason why Jesus immediately points to the days of Noah. The folks in Noah's day didn't believe either.

  • alright then tell me where in the bible it said that the world will end in 2011. He knows now because he is glorified in heaven. he is no longer wrapped in human flesh. and yes Mark 4:22 does say that nothing is hidden and all shall come to pass. it just doesnt say when it will come to pass. I dont know when it will happen. but neither do you. we arent judged by how well we prepare for the end times but by whether or not we put our faith in Christ. It doesnt even matter when He comes back.

  • I'm with ya on this one 100%. Shame on us for *not* recognizing the signs and not realizing that the times are no longer *coming*, but are HERE. NOW. I got a real good playlist you might want to have a gander at... Given your opinion, you will really enjoy it. God bless and keep you safe in the rough ride that is on our doorstep!

  • sorry you are not reading the Bible. Hebrews 1:5-9, John 1:1, John 8:58, Titus 2: 13

  • This is a powerful message - but it sounds like its half a message.

  • Well I didn't see anything I myself worship until 5:23 when Grimloc and the other Dinobots appear. You got me there.

Five minutes and thirty six seconds of absolutely zero indepenent thought or substance. Grats.

  • VERY GOOD Sermon Jam!!! Thank you

  • AWESOME!! This is the best 5 minute message I have ever heard. Better than many 1 hr sermons I've heard at church. Thank you so much.

  • excellent thanks for posting!!

  • This is the kind of preaching the world needs...I remember before I was really saved I looked for everything worldly, music, money, friends. Now I realize that none of that comes close to the worth of Jesus. I have given my life to Jesus. I will suffer much, but I know that people will be saved by my suffering.

  • Me too.

  • Possibly unfair for me to mention seeing I haven't heard the entire message but I didn't hear a lick of God's Word quoted in this so here's a couple:

And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.

    (II Corinthians 6:16)

Also very good is the entire chapter of Ezekiel 14

Son of man, these men have set up their idols in their heart,

  • Amen brother! Peach the Word

  • Peoples take their gifts granted for themselves;if they ever praise the Lord for what He provide, they first have to confess their sinful natures to Him....but they turn their face from Him!!

  • powerful message my friend, peoples have to give up on their earthly desire.

(hum!)I hope God will just break them,so that they may give all to our King;their sins, their heart, their life.

  • where's this music from?

  • I just love how brutally honest Mark Driscoll is.

Keep up the you tube ministry.

  • Glad you liked it =)

  • Very good and true message! Thanks for posting.

Watch Copeland in 5:12 and tell me what you see .... sometimes while pretending to speak in tongues he swaps over to English saying things like "Satan you´re my master" or "receive the mark of the beast" when he touches somebody´s forehead.

  • Dude, K Copeland looks like he's ganna bite the dudes neck.

  • I do not only see Copeland in his eyes, if you know what I mean.
