But if we take other factors in, there are actually a few more than just tales of vesperia, pretty much anything handled by Falcom or SMT games are 99% of the time great even up to today.

@123UlquiorraIsMe1 From falcom i've mainly been playing the Ys games, i got the turbografx16 version of Ys 1&2 (best version of the soundtrack imo) and the psp version too, ys oath in felghana (so hard its not funny) and ys seven, as for persona i wish to play those games too and maybe the digital devil saga serie (or whatever the name) too

@123UlquiorraIsMe1 i have ys oath in felghana and origin on emulator. Felghana is translated completely but Origin only has menus translated, you still have to guess a lot on your own. I know on PS2 there is ys ark of Napishtim which kinda have an irritating voice acting i heard and even more annoying loading times and game file sizes.

This games is so much better than Symphonia. Don't get me wrong, Symphonia is a great game and was my first rpg. But the storyline and characters in this game are just so amazing. This is actually my favorite game (I am so surprised though... Having FFX not be at the top of the list is scary...) But yeah, I'm currently playing Symphonia and then promising to finally play all of FFXII. Both great series if you ask me.

I agree so, too. Symphonia was actually also my first RPG. I really really loved it, but not as much as ToA (and the sequel for ToS is kinda crappy, too, which disappointed me...) I haven't played any of the FF though, since I don't have an PS2 (I borrowed one from a friend in order to play ToA), but I totally agree, it's one of the best RPG ever.

I recently replayed Symphonia, but after Abyss, the storyline is kind of bland. I mean, sure, some of it is okay, but it's really cliche'd. Abyss was definately better, as you truly felt sorry for Luke. I didn't even mind his "mopey-phase" as many do, simply because everyone in the game gets annoyed of it too.

its called the xylaphone... or something like that.. basically its a keyboard of thin pieces of metal being hit with a wooden stick... where you hit each piece of metal and how soft or had you hit it makes a different sound. so since this was all in the same key... the player was really talented!
