Try actually pulling up into it from hanging. You can actually do a training move by doing this.

@heikg The guy in the vid will know what I mean, it's circus terminology, we say planche instead of lever, they mean the same thing. but thanks!

@speak82 Yes but there's a move which is called just "planche". And to answer on your original question: No, the front lever is harder to learn than the back lever.

Don't arch, rather do straight negatives or practice the straddle FL. Good work.

Try doing it slightly arched, from there you can progress to strait body.
