you cant compare a 500hp mk3 to a 700hp mk4 and their quarter mile times, i have a 400ish hp mk4 and it does 12.6 in the quarter at 114mph, i know of some 600hp ones that do the time slower than me but cross the line at over 125mph, its not all about quarter mile times,A 500hp car will always produce more power at lower revs due to the smaller faster spooling turbo, the 2jz can take big power so people usually fit big turbos because they can so its nothing to do with the 7m having a long stroke
