I wish they'd go back to the old formula, all running levels like the Shadow and Sonic levels of SA2 with subtle differences between the characters like in Sonic and Knuckles.

I would say side-scroller w/ 3D graphics but I think I'd miss the grinding parts too much.

How did Tails notice that the Eggman robot isn't a robot, besides the fact that the robot was oozing with purple liquid (if he did see the liquid, that is)?

a good technique on egg albatros is to wait for eggman to dash into you and at that time get your firballs ready(i mena knuckles) untill you are at the ballon, in the ballon swich over to sonic and start hitting the center but still stay near the start.

once this down just keep attacking, dont worry about falling down it will glitch out and you wont die

This game would be awesome if it had SA2B style gameplay. LIke Sonic Heroes graphics and engine, but just having Hero and Dark sides with single characters. Or maybe just Sonic Adventure style gameplay. The Heroes was a good idea but not executed so well.
